End of the World

Nature is good and
Basically evil-
limit the damage

I see people in pain
and I see the grimace
the Strain on their faces
and the stress

In that situation- needing a dream
In order to avoid the nightmare
They were painted in a riot
Adorned with flowers

Economy is a dream
A lot of people do cool stuff. But-
-heres the thing;
If you look away from the bright lights
And the dull numbers
Thousands
More die on the hooks
Of longline fishing vessels

I have a dream that I can make a symbiosis work
Before we could conduct our search
We had to test our secret weapons

This flexibility serves us well
In situations that demand
Carrying a scorching microwave
The mind know that
Greater misery
By holding
The momentary suffering
To invest
Manure is digested

Society, including men
With significant financial resources
Is one challenge.
Once in power is another

“We were able to put the channel
Into pain signaling neurons
And cause them to go BRRRP!
When they should be going
Bop-bop”

Debt drives about
A thousand farmers
To suicide every year
A poignant combination
Of vulnerability and toughness
An albatross
Can’t stop a mouse
From eating its young

All the trash we make
is not Evil
Its a sign
We are a little dumb
There was a time
When humans were
so grateful for rivers,
They made them into
Divinities

We see what is not there
Time, location,
Morph and disappear

Or do we? Perhaps
Able
It proves
Sensory
Secret
Experiment with out
Personal mission
We’re awake, the brain
All those limbs
Driving and shopping and texting
The money- earning
We’re sleeping

Or, to quote Marilyn Monroe:
“Its good to have caviar but not when you have it at every meal”
Beans, maybe
But not caviar

How to trick mycelium:
Perform a ritual

We can improve on nature
A biodegradable ice cream wrapper
Wildflower seeds
You could liter
It would propagate beauty
